Workshops at McIlrath Farm

We regularly host two to three day workshops through Lake Pepin Art & Design Center in Pepin, Wisconsin. The programs bring outstanding instructors and students from around the country to a welcoming artistic community in a beautiful natural area. Studios and classrooms are located in the timber frame barn and in the grainary. With capacity for both small and large groups of working artists, the farm includes an exhibition hall and gallery, four large classrooms, a private painting studio, kitchen, rest rooms, outdoor/screen porches and gardens.

The McIlrath Farm is in the center of Hick’s Valley, two miles north of Pepin on County Road N. The landscape of the valley is spectacular with rolling hills, creek, and views of the Mississippi River bluffs.
